A MESSAGE FROM LESLYE
There is a part of Ethereal Dragonfly® that comes directly from my life. Behind every candle I create are pieces of my own journey—lessons, mistakes, disappointments, pain, moments of feeling lost, and experiences that taught me how easy it can be to forget yourself while trying to keep everyone else happy.
For many years, I gave so much of myself to the people and circumstances around me. I learned how to survive, how to keep going, and how to smile even when no one really knew what was happening behind closed doors.
Then something inside of me changed. I decided: no more. No more abandoning myself to please everyone else. No more believing my peace had to come last. I began choosing myself—not because I stopped loving others, but because I finally understood that I could love others and still love myself.
When you light an Ethereal Dragonfly® candle, my intention is that you give yourself a moment to stop. Breathe. Feel the warmth of the flame. Let everything outside of that moment become quiet. My intention is that our candles become a gentle reminder:
You are a beautiful human being.
You are worthy.
Your story is not finished.
You are allowed to begin again.
You are allowed to choose peace.
And you do not have to lose yourself trying to make everyone else happy.
Nobody knows everything another person has lived through. We all carry chapters that the world may never see. So if one of our candles finds you during a difficult chapter, I hope its light reaches you with the same intention that helped me find my way back to myself:

A MESSAGE FROM CHERI
There are moments in life when everything changes. Moments when the path you thought you were walking suddenly looks completely different, and you are faced with a choice: remain where you are, or find the strength within yourself to begin again.
For me, that beginning came after loss, change, and a chapter of my life that required more strength than I knew I had. As a Lupus warrior, I learned that strength does not always look loud or fearless. Sometimes it is simply getting up one more time, choosing hope when life feels uncertain, and trusting that your story is still moving forward.
I gathered everything I had within me — my faith, creativity, intuition, perseverance, and belief that there was still something beautiful ahead. From that place, Ethereal Dragonfly® Candle Company began.
For me, our candles are more than fragrance and flame. They are moments of peace, reflection, comfort, and renewal. A small light can change the feeling of a room, create space to breathe, or remind someone of their own strength.
That is what “Share the gift of light. Be the light.” truly means to me. It is about the light we offer one another through kindness, compassion, encouragement, and simply making someone feel seen.
My journey has taught me that we may not always choose the chapters life gives us, but we can choose what we carry forward from them. I chose hope, perseverance, and the belief that something beautiful can still emerge from change.
If something we create brings even one person a moment of peace or reminds them to keep moving forward, then the light that helped me begin again continues to be shared.
